About Barbara and John
Barbara Walsh-Kumm and John Kumm are working
together to develop a new web based information business. They both have
professional backgrounds, and are combining their knowledge and complementary
skillsets to produce a series of businesses to meet specific customer
needs.
Barbara has worked for many years in the travel sector, as tour leader, office
manager, consultant and business development manager. During her career, she has
travelled very extensively, and has built up a very thorough knowledge of travel
destinations, processes and procedures, things to avoid whilst travelling and of
the sort of hints and tips that can change a travel experience from a potential
disaster to a great and memorable time.
John has a background as a computer and electronic engineer, and has spent many
years working in and with the computer industry, specialising in multimedia, audio
visual developments, online applications and virtual reality. He has also worked
extensively as a business and technology consultant, and through a number of years
in academia has an impressive understanding of how to clearly communicate thoughts
and ideas to others.
